Religious manuscript bound in leather, the cover stamped wit - Lot 3
Religious manuscript bound in leather, the cover stamped with a cross in dotted circles. The Guèze text is written mainly in black ink, with some letters and chapters in red. Two important representations face each other: Saint George slaying the dragon and the Virgin and Child framed by two angels. Ethiopia, 19th century. The volume appears to be incomplete, but in good condition. We would like to thank Madame Brigitte Cordelle for compiling this information sheet.
